MIDTOWN 5 & 6 / MIAMI, FL
“Magellan Development Group’s first development in Miami’s rental market was Midtown Five, a 24-story 400-unit high-rise located in the emerging Midtown neighborhood. At that time, we recognized a growing demand for a fully amenitized, new construction luxury high-rise geared toward a demographic consisting largely of professional millennial singles and couples. Midtown Five has now been opened for approximately 9 months and its success has exceeded our expectations. As a result, we’re now moving ahead with plans for Midtown 6 which will have 447 units in a 32-story building, located immediately to the south.
Similar to Midtown Five, Midtown Six will offer an impressive array of indoor and outdoor amenities. However, the new building will have its own unique personality; a bit more sophisticated and refined, appealing, perhaps, to a slightly older demographic. To help achieve this, the building interior spaces are being designed with rich wood and natural stone finishes accented by black and gold hues. Unit interiors will be similarly designed to appeal to a discerning clientele which will expect a high level of finish and features. That’s why Italkraft was the perfect choice for Midtown Six’s kitchen and bathroom cabinetry.
“Midtown Six will offer Italkraft’s sleek European design to set the tone for all Midtown Six’s unit finishes. We expect our target residents will embrace the look, feel and functionality of our kitchen and bath design and many will choose to rent from us based largely on our choice of cabinetry and finish.”– Brian Gordon, Executive Vice President of Magellan Development
118 FULTON THE DUTCH/ NEW YORK (UPCOMING PROJECT)
With rental apartments appearing more like condominiums, the 118 Fulton in New York is sure to stun with the revetment of picturesque views at 49 stories tall and 574 feet above street level. The building will be divided between a 49,941 square foot commercial space and the residential consisting of 483 apartments.
Stephen Martinelli, Vice President of Construction at Carmel Partners accredits, “The construction of the site was very compelling. The exterior glass facade is normally not seen in luxury rental units. To create an upscale appeal was very important to us and the upgraded features were worth the expense. Once you get passed the 30th floor, the floor to ceiling views are a guarded mix of design that plays off the financial district and downtown Manhattan, adjacent to One World Financial Center and Freedom Tower. The views are absolutely astonishing.” “Italkraft was brought in during the early process of the design development due to their versatility of products, affordability, and sophisticated design.” carmelpartners.com
